Main : A Mechanical Lead is responsible for leading the design, development, and optimization of mechanical systems and components. This role involves integrating computational, thermal, and fluid dynamics to ensure high-performance and reliable instruments, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and efficiency. Mechanical Design and Development : Lead the design and development of mechanical components and systems for OES instruments, ensuring they meet performance, reliability, and manufacturability standards. Thermal and Fluid Dynamics Analysis : Conduct computational analysis of thermal and fluid dynamics within the OES systems, optimizing these parameters to enhance instrument stability and efficiency. Prototyping and Testing : Oversee the creation of prototypes and conduct rigorous testing to validate designs, using advanced tools and techniques to ensure alignment with project specifications. Cross-functional Collaboration : Work closely with other R&D teams, including optics and electronics, to integrate mechanical designs with other system components, ensuring cohesive and high-performing OES products. Candidates with IIT will be preferred.
