SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test)

As an SDET, you will be responsible for driving quality across the development lifecycle — from test strategy and automation design to execution and reporting. You will work closely with developers, QA engineers, and product teams to build scalable automated tests and frameworks that ensure our systems remain reliable, performant, and secure. The role requires hands-on experience with automation using  Python , strong knowledge of  pytest , and proficiency in  API testing and  test integration within DevOps environments . Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency of software delivery and the reliability of products across multiple platforms.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using  Python  and  pytest .
• Create, enhance, and execute automated tests for APIs, backend services, and system-level validation.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand architecture, design, and implementation details to ensure test coverage across all functionalities.
• Build automation scripts to support continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI / CD) pipelines.
• Develop detailed and efficient test strategies for new features and releases.
• Execute performance, regression, and integration testing to ensure product stability.
• Debug, analyze, and report issues, ensuring timely resolution and quality delivery.
• Contribute to improving test coverage, reliability, and scalability of automation frameworks.
• Integrate automated test suites with build systems and monitor test runs across environments.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure best testing practices are consistently followed.
• Drive process improvement initiatives for automation, test data management, and test execution efficiency.
