Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Procurement Expert to support procurement activities in alignment with government and multilateral agency standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public procurement, contract management, and familiarity with international procurement guidelines.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead and manage procurement processes for goods, services, and works in accordance with applicable government and donor agency guidelines.
  • Prepare and review bidding documents, contracts, and procurement plans.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies of State / Central Government, PSUs, and multilateral funding agencies such as the World Bank and ADB.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of procurement activities.
  • Provide technical support and capacity building to team members on procurement procedures and systems.
  • Utilize procurement software and tools for efficient process management.

Qualifications & Experience :

  • Graduate degree in Engineering, Economics, or Management disciplines.
  • MBA / PGDM with specialization in Contract Management or Procurement is preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in public procurement with State / Central Government or a Public Sector Undertaking (PSU).
  • Experience with procurement procedures of multilateral agencies such as the World Bank, ADB, or similar is desirable.
  • Proficiency in computer applications including MS Office and procurement software.
  • Skills & Competencies :

  • Strong understanding of public procurement laws and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Team player with a proactive approach.
