Vee Kay Vikram & Company (VKVC), established in 1969, manufactures and provides pipeline engineering and polyurethane products, including Pigging Products, Pipeline Equipment, Pipeline Repair and Maintenance Products, Surge Relief and Pipeline Valves, Floats and Buoys, and Pigging Services. VKVC's manufacturing facility is licensed by the American Petroleum Institute and follows ISO 9001 : 2000 Quality Management System standards. The company is based in Ahmedabad and is a member of the Pigging Products and Services Association, UK. VKVC specializes in pipeline cleaning services for new and aged pipelines.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Ahmedabad for a Mechanical Engineer. The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical components and systems, creating detailed engineering drawings using CAD software, and managing projects from inception to completion. Additional responsibilities include conducting research and development to improve existing products and processes, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve engineering challenges and ensure quality standards are met.

Qualifications

• Mechanical Engineering skills
• Proficiency in Machine Design and Computer-Aided Design (CAD)
• Project Management skills
• Experience in Research and Development (R&D)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Experience in the pipeline or manufacturing industry is a plus
