About the Role :
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Integration Specialist with 38 years of experience in building HL7 interfaces and working with major healthcare integration engines like InterSystems Health Connect, Ensemble, or Cloverleaf. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience integrating with leading EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Allscripts, and a strong understanding of US healthcare workflows.
This is a critical role within our healthcare technology team, offering the opportunity to work on high-impact integration solutions that directly support patient care, clinical workflows, and interoperability.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and maintain HL7 interfaces using Health Connect, Cloverleaf, or equivalent integration engines.
- Perform system configuration and build activities in EHR platforms (Epic, Cerner, or Allscripts).
- Translate business requirements into robust integration solutions supporting clinical and operational needs.
- Participate in Agile / Scrum development lifecycle with sprint planning, demos, and retrospectives.
- Perform impact analysis, effort estimation, and implement enhancements or fixes in alignment with SLAs.
- Conduct root cause analysis for integration issues and drive long-term problem resolution.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation including technical designs, interface specifications, and change logs.
- Collaborate closely with clinical, product, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver seamless data integration.
Must-Have Skills & Experience :
36 years of experience in HL7 interface development and implementationProficient with integration tools such as InterSystems Health Connect, Ensemble, or CloverleafExperience in EHR platforms such as Epic (preferred), Cerner, or AllscriptsUnderstanding of US healthcare systems, terminology, and workflowsProficiency in Agile development practicesHands-on experience in troubleshooting and support using incident management & RCA processesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong documentation capabilities for system changes and solution architectureFamiliarity with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio)Good-to-Have Skills :
