Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to WordPress functionality, performance, and compatibility.
Work closely with designers and content teams to implement responsive and accessible UI / UX designs.
Optimize websites for speed, scalability, and SEO.
Ensure security best practices and keep WordPress installations, themes, and plugins up to date.
Integrate third-party APIs and external services as needed.
Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Proven experience as a WordPress Developer (3+ years preferred).

Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery .

Deep understanding of WordPress core, themes, and plugin architecture.

Experience with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) , WPBakery , Elementor , or other page builders.

Familiarity with Git version control and collaborative workflows.

Experience integrating RESTful APIs.

Strong understanding of web performance optimization techniques.

Ability to debug and troubleshoot complex issues independently.

Good understanding of security best practices for WordPress environments.
