Postgre SQL Engineer L2

Location : Hyderabad

Experience : 3-5 years

Responsibilities

• Perform daily monitoring and administration of Postgre SQL databases across various environments.
• Manage database user accounts, roles, privileges, and schemas as per security guidelines.
• Perform backup, restore, and routine maintenance activities using pg_dump and Commvault integration.
• Monitor database performance using Splunk and AWS Cloud Watch, or Azure Monitor dashboards.
• Apply database patches, upgrades, and routine health checks under guidance from L3 DBAs.
• Troubleshoot connection issues, locks, and replication lag alerts in multi-node setups.
• Respond to incidents and service requests in Service Now while maintaining SLA compliance.
• Maintain documentation of DB configurations and update records in CMDB.
