Key Responsibilities :
Circuit Design :
Design electronic circuits to meet product specifications and functional requirements.
Schematic Development :
Create and manage circuit schematics using tools such as Altium Designer, PADs, or KiCad.
Embedded Hardware Integration :
Develop systems using microcontrollers and standard communication protocols like I2C, SPI, RS485, USB, CAN, and Modbus.
Interface & Module Development :
Integrate and test components such as LCDs, keypads, sensors, memory chips, RTCs, motors, and IoT modules.
PCB Design :
Create 2-layer or multi-layer PCBs using Altium, PADs, or KiCad.
Prototype Development :
Plan material procurement, create Bill of Materials (BOM), and lead prototype assembly (soldering, wiring, mechanical fitting, validation).
Issue Identification & Resolution :
Debug and fix hardware issues found during prototype validation.
Version Control :
Maintain hardware version records and manage release documentation.
Change Management :
Analyze and implement modifications in existing hardware circuits based on feedback and new requirements.
Documentation :
Prepare detailed technical documentation, including product manuals and compliance reports.
Product Testing & Certification :
Participate in validation and certification processes for product launch readiness.
Team Leadership :
Mentor and guide junior engineers, manage task assignments, and monitor job progress.
Skill Development & Maintenance :
Stay updated with new tools and technologies. Ensure development equipment (e.g., multimeter, oscilloscope, soldering tools) is functional and calibrated.
Firmware Understanding :
Collaborate with software teams to understand and implement firmware logic in hardware design.
Team Collaboration :
Exhibit a positive, team-oriented mindset, with ownership of assigned tasks.
