Job Title : SAP Project System (PS) Consultant

Experience : 6 to 8 years (Minimum 7.5 years in SAP Project System)

Work Location : Pune / Hyderabad / Bangalore / Noida

Roles & Responsibilities :

  • Act as an SME in SAP Project System, providing guidance and strategic input across teams.
  • Collaborate with internal and cross-functional teams to deliver aligned and effective project system solutions.
  • Lead and manage team activities, ensuring effective task distribution and decision-making.
  • Provide expert solutions to application issues, collaborating with other module consultants as needed.
  • Monitor project progress to ensure delivery is in line with business goals and timelines.
  • Facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions and mentor junior team members to enhance team capability.
  • Ensure the application of SAP best practices and methodologies throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Participate in and support integration activities with other SAP modules and third-party systems.
  • Maintain excellent stakeholder communication and manage project risks effectively.

Professional & Technical Skills :

  • Proficiency in SAP Project System (PS)
  • Minimum of 7.5 years of hands-on experience including configuration, customization, and solution design.
  • Strong understanding of application development methodologies : Including Agile or Waterfall frameworks.
  • Experience with SAP module integration
  • Especially with SAP FI / CO, MM, SD, and PP.
  • Application troubleshooting and resolution expertise
  • Ability to quickly identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and techniques :
  • Understanding of WBS, networks, milestones, and project budgeting within SAP PS.

  • Experience in client-facing roles is a plus.
