Project Description :
We are seeking a skilled professional to work on a robust technical platform for analyzing, developing, and maintaining business-critical software systems. This role involves leveraging technologies such as zTPF Assembler, TPFDF, TPFC / C++, and related tools to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of enterprise systems.
- Responsibilities :
- Able to do requirements analysis, understand the business flows to translate them into Technical Requirements.
- Able to code, edit, and debug programs, unit / integration test, deploy using zTPF Assembler, TPFDF, TPFC / C++ for the assigned bugs / enhancements.
- Migration experience from ZTPF to any other technology is highly desirable.
- Able to troubleshoot and identify bugs in existing programs, design and release bug fixes.
- Can design and develop new programs, analyze current programs and processes.
- Collaborate with project team in understanding customer needs.
- Follow the best practices in software development and maintenance such as standards, documenting code and other practices necessary.
- Ability to work independently with customer.
- Able to deliver the assigned work with quality within agreed timeliness.
- Should be able to support in shifts (if needed) and support the applications in the off-business hours & weekends.
Mandatory Skills Description :
Technical : 5+ years of experience in zTPF Assembler, TPF-DF, TPF-C / C++, PSS.Good working knowledge of IBM Tool kit tools (Trace Log, Code Coverage, Performance Analyzer).Functional : Exposure to Airlines domain of either Checkin, Reservations or Ticketing is highly preferred.Should take ownership of the assigned assignments / tasks.Ability to deliver under tough project timelines when in need.Able to understand Software Development Life Cycle.Possess strong logical / analytical skills to address job related problems.Quality Mindset, Self-motivated, Team Player and result oriented.Good interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to simultaneously interface with other teams and stakeholders.
