Job Title : Integration Architect
Location : Chennai, India
Job Summary :
Provide design and governance expertise on Integration Development during the full lifecycle of the integration. Advocate and contribute to best practice and Integration strategy.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Design high-quality integration solutions that are secure, self-maintaining and resilient.
- Work with the Solution Architects and Integration Engineers to ensure the solution meets all requirements and is developed to the expected specification.
This includes :
Creating the initial integration design.Provide detailed task breakdown with estimates.Perform peer code reviews.Support the Testers during the different testing phases (e.g. Test and UAT).Design the Production operational requirements.Perform performance review on changed or newly implemented integrations, and champion subsequent improvements through the change process.Key competencies & requirements :
Operational guidance includes :
Implement high-quality exception management including notification processes for both technical and business channelsMaintenance guidelines for data management during normal Production operationDefine retention period and backup requirements, and following EMEIA IT standards and best practices for data managementDesign the integration to ensure AMS teams involvement is not required for were non-technical issues and for normal operation.Ensure integrations are designed in a consistent and standardized manner.Leading, mentoring and coaching the engineers to produce high quality and high performing integrations.Foster an environment of trust, openness, collaboration and mutual support.Contribute to EMEIA IT integration standards, governance and integration strategy framework and documentation.Ensure integrations adhere to Integration Strategy, guidelines and standards.Ensure integrations adhere to ASSA ABLOY security standards and guidelines on protocol choices.Ensure integrations adhere to GDPR and other regional regulations and requirements.Ensure the applications are self-maintaining and do not require human intervention for normal operations (including business data failures, replaying a message etc.).Education and / or Experience
Proven integration development experiences (5 years+) as a senior developer in charge of multiple software projects with proven development process knowledgeGood understanding of integration principles and best practicesKnowledge of formal software release and deployment managementExperience in working in a global organization with geographically dispersed, multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary teamsDriven and proactive, stays on top of the issues and follows up rigorouslyResults and process orientedGood team player with experience in working with virtual, cross-functional teamsrespectful and with high integrity
Able to influence and inspire othersStrong experience integrating with ERP systemsDevelopment Experience :
D365 F&SCM integration ExperienceMicrosoft SQL ServerMicrosoft .Net frameworkIntegration Platform (Boomi, Biztalk or similar)Azure DevOps (including CI / CD)GIT source controlLanguage Skills
Ability to effectively communicate in the English language, both verbally and in writing.Ability to read and interpret technical journals, specifications, international technical standards, etc.Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.Familiar with operating systems, such as Windows, etc.Highlight knowledge, skills, abilities, and traits necessary in this role to satisfy our customer's expectations.Work Environment
