Our Global Tax Team provides support and advice for all tax accrual processes for Baker Hughes including forecasting tax provision quarterly and annual close and settlement. We are in contact with local and regional business controller-ship teams to provide expert tax advice and processes to the business.

As a Senior Tax Analyst you will support the requirements and various tax jurisdictions to manage the calculation filing payment and reconciliation of Taxes at Global Tax Centre.

As a Senior Tax Analyst you will be responsible for :

Preparing and analyzing of financial data legal documents and other relevant info required for local tax filings / tax audits and any other statutory requirement.

Liaising with local corporate tax teams with regard to the tax lifecycle (including a tax accounts reconciliation return to accruals and etc) and be the interface with finance auditors tax agents corporate tax team and other internal stakeholder.

Analyzing financial data and transactions to identify potential tax risks and opportunities.

Collaborating with internal teams including finance and legal to ensure tax compliance in all aspects of business operations.

Assisting with tax audits and responding to tax authorities inquiries or requests for information.

Supporting the preparation of transfer pricing documentation and compliance.

Participating in cross-functional projects and initiatives related to tax optimization and process improvement.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will :

Have Bachelors Degree in Accounting Finance or equivalent professional qualification (ACCA / CPA / etc). Have minimum 4-5 years corporate tax experience in large multinational accounting firm (knowledge of other taxes is a plus)

Demonstrate expertise and experience in tax accounting (corporate income tax / deferred taxes) with good analytical skill.

Assist with the preparation and filing of corporate tax returns for Indian companies.

Calculate tax provisions and deferred tax liabilities.

Respond to tax inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.

Analyzing financial data and transactions to identify potential tax risks and opportunities.

Assisting with tax audits and responding to tax authorities inquiries or requests for information.

Have computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Office. Knowledge in ERP (SAP Oracle) is an added advantage.
