DevOps Engineer

MedGenome is the founding member of GenomeAsia 100K, an initiative to sequence 100,000 Genomes in Asia.

We have an exciting opportunity for the position of DevOps Engineer in Bengaluru location. It is a full time and work from office opportunity.

Skills and Experience Required :

• 5+ years of experience in Linux and DevOps or related fields.
• Strong acquaintance with software development processes and methodologies
• Experience with continuous integration / delivery tools such as Jenkins, Gitlab / Github, Travis CI, Spinnaker, etc.
• Strong knowledge in CI / CD on AWS and GCP. In-depth experience in configuring and turning AWS CodeCommit, AWS CodeBuild, AWS CodePipeline, AWS CodeDeploy, Amazon Elastic Container Registry, AWS CodeStar, AWS CDK, AWS Cloudformation
• In-depth knowledge in design, implement, and maintain robust infrastructure as code (IaC) solutions using tools like Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation.
• Good Knowledge on Docker, Kubernates, and AWS EKS
• Strong knowledge in Git strategies and GitLab Webhooks and integration with different software tools.
• Previous software development background will be an added benefit.
• Excellent scripting skills in Bash, Python, Perl, etc.
• In-depth knowledge in Linux and Linux applications deployment and configurations. Especially Apache, Nginx, Tomcat, MySql, MongoDB, Oracle, etc.
• Handson experience with SDLC and onprem deployments.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools
• Good knowledge and implementation experience in relational and non-relational databases. Example : MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB, etc.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Educational Qualification :

Bachelors or Masters in Computer Application or IT or CS
