Master Designer, Drafting

Ensure final designs comply with regulations and quality standards. Perform complex tolerance analysis and validation, and establish component tolerances in accordance with manufacturing capabilities; Participate in design review activities to ensure that the design complies with the aesthetic and documentation guidelines before commercially using it. Collaborates with hardware engineers to convert designs into technical plans. Experience using a PLM tool to specify parts, create product structure, and receive / complete tasks; Ability to multitask and manage several projects at a time and to meet deadlines. Ability to create Add, Delete, or Replace parts' Change Notices, and to write CNs to document complex and coordinated changes. Ability to perform independent research to determine (or confirm) the effect of change on other components or assemblies. Experience using Creo Parametric with workspaces in Windchill; Experience using Windchill to specify parts, create product structure, and receive / complete tasks; Experience with the development of 3D or mechanical models of electronic circuit boards; Ability to create mCAD models and properly link to Hardware part items in Windchill. Ability to import an EDA file onto an mCAD model, and XML.
