Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our growing technology team. This role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust DevOps processes to improve development efficiency, infrastructure scalability, and deployment automation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AWS, CI / CD pipelines, container orchestration , and system administration.

Key Responsibilities

• Infrastructure & Tooling Development
• Build, configure, and maintain scalable, secure infrastructure on AWS .
• Implement and manage CI / CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
• Design and maintain highly available systems with effective monitoring and alerting mechanisms.
• Manage and optimise cloud infrastructure costs and resource utilisation.
• Automation & Process Improvement
• Develop scripts to automate provisioning, deployment, and configuration management.
• Continuously improve DevOps processes, tools, and workflows to increase team productivity.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar .
• Collaboration & Support
• Work closely with software developers, QA engineers, and product managers to ensure smooth and efficient release cycles.
• Understand stakeholder needs and translate them into technical requirements for development teams.
• Perform root cause analysis for production errors and implement effective resolutions.
• Provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and resolve incidents to maintain uptime and performance SLAs.
• Security & Compliance
• Ensure systems are secure against cybersecurity threats through proactive patching, vulnerability management, and adherence to best practices.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and security, implementing necessary improvements.
• Database & Network Management
• Install, configure, and maintain databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB .
• Possess knowledge of network technologies like TCP / IP, DNS, and load balancing for robust infrastructure setups.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Good to Have

Certifications in AWS, Kubernetes, or DevOps practices.

Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack.

Exposure to security best practices and compliance frameworks.
