Key Planning & Execution :
- Lead end-to-end execution of statutory audit engagements in compliance with applicable accounting and auditing standards (Ind AS, IFRS, IGAAP, etc.)
- Develop audit plans, allocate resources, and set timelines for completion.
- Conduct risk assessments and define the audit scope in collaboration with senior management.
Team Management :
Supervise, mentor, and review the work of audit associates and seniors.Ensure timely training, development, and performance evaluation of team members.Drive quality and consistency across audit deliverables.Client Relationship Management :
Act as a primary point of contact for clients during audit engagements.Provide clients with insights on financial reporting and regulatory developments.Identify business development opportunities and support in proposal preparation.Compliance & Reporting :
Ensure audits are completed in line with regulatory deadlines and internal quality standards.Review and finalize financial statements and audit reports.Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies and tax consultants, as required.Process Improvement :
Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices, tools, and methodologies.Participate in internal initiatives to improve audit quality and efficiency.Key Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent qualification (CPA / ACCA, 4-6 years of post-qualification experience in statutory audits.
Prior experience in a Big 4 or mid-sized audit firm is highly desirable.Technical Skills :
Strong knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS), Companies Act, Income Tax Act, and other regulatory frameworks.Familiarity with audit tools and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, CaseWare, etc.)Soft Skills :
