About the Role :
We are hiring an experienced Sales Manager to lead and grow our sales operations in Nampula, Mozambique. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in FMCG sales, particularly in beauty care or personal care products, and a deep understanding of the local market.
This is a long-term role for someone who is strategic, hands-on, and passionate about delivering sales excellence in a fast-moving consumer environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market share in the beauty / personal care segment
- Lead and manage a team of sales representatives and distributors across the region
- Identify, build, and maintain relationships with key customers, retailers, and wholesalers
- Monitor and analyze market trends and competitor activities to adjust strategies accordingly
- Collaborate with marketing, supply chain, and finance teams to support sales growth
- Track sales performance, prepare regular reports, and meet monthly / quarterly targets
- Ensure strong in-store visibility, product availability, and promotional execution
Required Qualifications :
Minimum 5 years of experience in FMCG sales, preferably in beauty, cosmetics, or personal care productsStrong leadership and team management skillsExcellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilitiesDeep knowledge of retail distribution networks in MozambiqueFluency in Portuguese (mandatory) - both spoken and writtenProficiency in English is an added advantageDegree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related fieldPreferred Candidate Profile :
