The Software Engineer is responsible for planning, organizing, and managing the development,
implementation, and support client's Parts business application environment. The SE maintains ASI
platform strategies to support evolving business requirements. The software Engineer should build and strengthens the relations with the business or sometimes with customers, with other business departments and plays an important role within the team to meet new technical and functional requirements.
Key responsibilities :
- Supervises the ASI / AS400 core system applications, including planning, requirement analysis, development, testing, deployment and monitoring job activities.
- Manages daily support, maintenance, and incident resolution across all the ASI applications.
- Project deployment activities.
- Ensure systems are kept up-to-date and secure and all compliance activities are well managed.
- Provides technical solutions to ensure scalability of core ASI platforms that include a combination of AS400 solutions and custom developed applications.
- Develops and maintains an on-going ASI application.
- Supports and grow’s client's Agile Development process and mindset and provides day-to-day agile activity for the team.
- Embodies and promotes client's Parts values of Teamwork, Continuous Improvement, Commitment, Openness and Learning.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders to align platform services with strategic business needs.
- Establishes and maintains collaborative partnerships with internal team, vendors, ITD departments, and others.
Knowledge & Skills REQUIRED : State formal educational level and experience required for the job. State additional professional, technical (including licenses and certifications) or years of relevant experience required.
