SAP Materials Management (MM) Lead

Job Overview :

We are seeking a highly experienced and expert SAP Materials Management (MM) Lead to join our team. With 10-20 years of extensive experience, you will be responsible for leading the design, configuration, implementation, and support of SAP MM solutions. This role demands deep functional expertise in all aspects of MM, strong integration knowledge with other SAP modules, and the ability to drive strategic initiatives to optimize procurement and inventory processes.

Responsibilities :

• Lead the full lifecycle implementation of SAP MM solutions, including requirements gathering, business process mapping, gap analysis, design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
• Provide expert functional guidance and solution architecture for all MM sub-modules, including but not limited to Purchasing (Procure-to-Pay), Inventory Management, Invoice Verification, Material Master, Valuation and Account Assignment, and Foreign Trade / Customs.
• Collaborate extensively with business stakeholders to understand their needs, define optimal processes, and translate them into effective SAP MM configurations.
• Design and implement complex integration points between SAP MM and other core SAP modules such as Production Planning (PP), Sales and Distribution (SD), Financial Accounting and Controlling (FICO), and Extended Warehouse Management (EWM).
• Develop functional specifications for custom developments (RICEFW objects - Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows) and collaborate closely with ABAP development teams.
• Conduct comprehensive testing activities, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT), ensuring solution quality and adherence to business requirements.
• Provide post-go-live support, resolve complex issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives for the SAP MM landscape.
• Lead and mentor junior SAP MM consultants, fostering their skill development and knowledge growth.
• Prepare detailed documentation including process flows, configuration guides, functional specifications, and training materials.
• Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and best practices, particularly in S / 4HANA related to Materials Management.
• Drive optimization initiatives for procurement processes, inventory control, and supply chain efficiency.
