Instructional Design Manager - Edtech

Job descriptionBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Instructional Design. 5–8 years of experience in instructional or curriculum design, preferably in the EdTech or e-learning space. At least 2–3 years of team leadership or management experience. Strong understanding of online pedagogy, active learning methods, and learner engagement strategies. Proficiency with instructional design tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia) and learning platforms (e.g., LMS, LXP). Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and mentor a team of instructional designers, curriculum developers, and content writers to create engaging and effective learning modules.
- Collaborate with product managers, SMEs, video producers, graphic designers, and tech teams to deliver rich, interactive digital learning experiences.
- Define and implement instructional design strategies that align with pedagogical goals, learner personas, and technology capabilities.
- Review and ensure the instructional quality of content in terms of structure, learning outcomes, assessment design, and learner engagement.
- Drive the development of interactive e-learning modules, assessments, explainer videos, simulations, and adaptive learning journeys.
- Analyze learner feedback, performance data, and engagement analytics to continuously improve the content.
- Stay abreast of trends in education, cognitive science, and educational technology to innovate content delivery methods.
