We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist.
In This Role, You Will
- Completion of incidents received through ServiceNow within the agreed SLA.
- Prioritize and deliver service to agreed SLA, within a diverse and constantly changing technical environment.
- Provide technical support and resolve issues related to Windows Operating System, including system crashes, performance issues, hardware compatibility and software.
- Assisting with the installation of software configuration issues and windows o / s on new devices or for system upgrades.
- Monitoring system performance through event logs and security issues. Also responsible for production monitoring, incident / problem management for numerous applications.
- Ensuring security configurations and compliance with company policies, including antivirus settings, firewalls and users access controls.
- Report promptly to management regarding critical outages until resolution.
- Interact with infrastructure, release management, change management, QA, and application support teams.
- Participate in cross-functional delivery of complex issues involving internal and external teams.
- Acquire good process knowledge and be informed of all new updates / additions and functions.
Qualifications - External
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements :
Ability to work under pressure and deliver within limited timescales, whilst maintaining quality.Technical support skills experience in providing end user support.Strong working knowledge on Windows Operating system, managing local and domain user accounts ( Active directory).Good working Knowledge on SCCM and Adaptiva tool with networking concepts and remote assistance.Advanced troubleshooting knowledge on Hardware and System performances with resource management.Ability to research and gather information to support technical decisions.Good communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts clearly to global users and provide excellent customer service.Strong problem solving and analytical skill to diagnose and resolve issues.Scripting knowledge on PowerShell and SQL.Stakeholder Management.www.hsbc.com / careers
