Role Description

As an Outbound Sales Development Representative (SDR), you are the tip of the spear for our entire sales organization. Your mission is to research, identify, and engage the future leaders of Indian manufacturing, acting as the first point of contact between them and our company.

You are not just booking meetings; you are a business consultant in training. You will learn to understand complex business problems, articulate a powerful value proposition to senior executives, and lay the foundation for high-value deals. This role is designed for individuals with immense drive and a desire to build a successful career in enterprise technology sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Prospecting : Systematically research and identify high-potential companies that fit our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) within the manufacturing sector. You'll map out their organizational structure to find the key decision-makers (Founders, CEOs, CFOs, COOs).
  • Personalized Outreach : Craft compelling, personalized outreach campaigns using a multi-channel approach (Email, Sales Navigator, Cold Calling). You will cut through the noise with messaging that speaks directly to the pains and ambitions of senior leaders.
  • Engage & Qualify : Conduct high-level discovery calls to understand a prospect's challenges. You will become an expert at qualifying leads based on their strategic needs, not just basic BANT criteria, ensuring our Account Executives' time is spent on the highest quality opportunities.
  • Book High-Value Meetings : Your primary goal is to secure well-qualified discovery meetings and demos for our senior Account Executives, providing them with detailed notes and context to ensure a seamless handoff.
  • Master Your Craft : Diligently manage your activity, pipeline, and notes in our CRM. You will become an expert in using modern sales tools and technologies to maximize your efficiency.
  • Collaborate to Win : Work closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to refine messaging, share market insights, and develop targeted campaigns.

  • A "Student of Business" : You are genuinely interested in how businesses work, particularly in the manufacturing space. You are eager to learn about business models, financial metrics, and operational challenges.
  • Experience : 0-2 years of experience. Prior sales or B2B experience is a plus, but raw talent, intelligence, and drive are more important. We will teach you the rest.
