Key Responsibilities :

Test Planning and Design :

Analyze user stories specifications and requirements to create comprehensive test plans test cases and test scripts.

Test Execution :

Execute manual and automated test scripts to identify defects inconsistencies and performance issues.

Defect Management :

Log and track defects using a defect tracking system and collaborate with developers to ensure timely resolution.

Reporting and Communication :

Prepare clear and concise test reports communicate findings to stakeholders and participate in meetings to discuss testing progress and issues.

Regression Testing :

Perform regression testing after bug fixes and software updates to ensure that existing functionality remains unaffected.

Test Environment Setup :

Set up and maintain the test environment including test data and necessary tools.

Collaboration :

Work closely with developers product managers and other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient software development lifecycle.

Quality Assurance :

Apply quality engineering principles throughout the software development lifecycle.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills  .
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills  .
• Experience with manual and automated testing techniques  .
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies  .
• Knowledge of testing tools and defect tracking systems  .
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team  .
• Experience in data analysis  .
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously  .
• Understanding of different types of testing :  functional integration regression performance.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies :  is often preferred.
• Experience with various testing tools :  (e.g. Selenium JUnit TestNG).
