Senior Java Software Engineer

Role : Java Developer - US Insurance Products

Location : Noida / Pune / Hyderabad (hybrid)

Description :

We are looking for a skilled Java Developer with strong experience in US Life Insurance and Annuities. The candidate should have hands-on development expertise in policy administration or insurance platforms, with the ability to build scalable, secure, and high-performing applications.

Key Responsibilities :

Design, develop, and maintain Java / Spring Boot applications supporting insurance business processes such as policy administration, underwriting, billing, and claims.

Work closely with product, business, and QA teams to deliver quality software aligned with business needs.

Develop and integrate REST APIs, batch jobs, and backend services.

Participate in Agile / POD-based delivery, code reviews, and performance optimization.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across environments.

Required Skills & Experience :

5–8 years of hands-on experience in Core Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and Hibernate / JPA.

Strong understanding of US insurance domain concepts, particularly Life Insurance, Annuities, and Policy Administration Systems (PAS).

Experience working on or integrating with insurance products / systems used in the US market.

Good understanding of SDLC, microservices architecture, and RESTful API development.

Experience with RDBMS (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and writing complex SQL queries.

Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines, Git, Maven, Jenkins, etc.

Good to Have :

Experience in front-end technologies (Angular, React).

Exposure to Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).

Basic knowledge of automation frameworks or DevOps tools.

Soft Skills :

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Ability to work effectively in Agile or POD-based teams.
