Job description
Key Responsibilities :
Achieve the assigned sales budget by formulating and executing a robust sales strategy derived from broad directives provided by the Regional Manager.
Drive significant volume and distribution expansion for products within the assigned territory, identifying new markets and opportunities.
Ensure timely collection of receivables in strict accordance with the company's credit policy, maintaining financial health.
Set ambitious yet achievable targets for the primary sales network, aligning with volume growth objectives, outflow expectations, and comprehensive extraction of market potential.
Build and strengthen relationships with key customers, major accounts, and strategic partners across the entire territory to foster long-term loyalty and business growth.
Ensure optimal allocation and effective utilization of the Advertising & Promotion (A&P) budget, maximizing return on investment for marketing activities.
Ensure the effective and consistent implementation of centrally coordinated sales strategies, promotional campaigns, and marketing initiatives across the territory.
Establish and maintain a robust market intelligence system to gather crucial information on competitor activities, market trends, and the overall business environment.
Ensure all aspects of the company's Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Policy are strictly adhered to by all team members and channel partners.
Plan, budget, and control all expenses within the territory, implementing effective monitoring systems to ensure financial discipline.
Map and analyze the secondary sales network, taking suitable and proactive actions to ensure its stability, efficiency, and continuous growth.
Conduct proactive demand generation activities, including promotional events, customer engagement programs, and lead nurturing initiatives, to expand market reach and drive sales.
Required Profile :
Education : Graduate, preferably with a degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Automobile Engineering, or an MBA in Marketing / Business Management.
Experience : 6-8 years of progressive sales experience, with at least 2 years in a similar leadership role managing a territory or team of comparable size and complexity.
Team Management : Excellent team management skills with a demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, develop, and effectively handle a sales team.
Sales Acumen : Strong sales and negotiation skills with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Strategic Thinking : Ability to formulate and execute effective sales strategies.
Communication : Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, for engaging with customers, partners, and internal teams.
Market Knowledge : Strong understanding of market dynamics, competitive landscape, and distribution channels.
Financial Literacy : Ability to manage budgets and receivables.
Proactiveness : Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented.
