Position Summary :
We are looking for a Financial Analyst with 5 to 7 years of experience in P2P operations, Invoice Management, and Financial Analytics. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the financial interactions between the organization and its service providers, including purchase order handling, vendor relationships, contract compliance, and financial reporting. This role demands strong attention to detail, communication skills, and a good grasp of finance operations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage purchase requisitions, purchase order creation, tracking, and timely closures.
- Maintain accurate records of POs, invoices, and vendor data; generate procurement activity reports.
- Ensure contract compliance, handle renewals / amendments, and adhere to internal policies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors; evaluate vendor performance and resolve disputes.
- Work on Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes.
- Perform invoice processing, dispute resolution, and track status of billing / invoice-related issues.
- Develop and manage financial reports, including actuals, forecasts, and budgets.
- Analyze trends and variances; provide insights and propose resolutions where needed.
- Maintain a centralized financial documentation repository.
- Present findings through clear and concise written reports and presentations.
- Apply sound financial governance principlesensuring transparency, traceability, and auditability.
- Interpret and apply contract language to relevant financial processes and reporting.
Required Qualifications & Skills :
Bachelors degree in Commerce / Finance; MBA in Finance preferred.57 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis or Procurement Finance.Hands-on experience in Invoice Management, P2P cycle, and contract compliance.Strong Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable knowledge.Proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.) is mandatory.Working knowledge of MS PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.Strong understanding of purchasing principles and contract law.Excellent communication skillsboth written and verbal in English.ref : iimjobs.com)
