The ideal candidate has 10+ years of hands-on experience leading digital, automation, and smart manufacturing initiatives across production, quality, supply chain, and plant operations.You will guide automotive SMEs and mid-sized manufacturers in selecting and adopting the right technologies, improving operational efficiency, increasing reliability, and accelerating their digital transformation maturity.Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose current manufacturing, production, and shop-floor processes to identify digital maturity gaps.Design and deploy Industry 4.0 solutions tailored for automotive environments.Lead the evaluation and adoption of technologies such as : ERP & MES (SAP, Oracle, Infor, Ramco, etc.)Automation & Robotics (robotic welding, assembly robots, cobots)IoT & Smart Factory systems (sensorisation, machine connectivity, OEE / MTBF / MTTR dashboards)Predictive Maintenance & AI-driven analyticsPLM & CAD / CAM tools (Siemens, Dassault, Autodesk)Supply Chain Digital Tools (RFID / barcoding, e-Kanban, warehouse automation)Digital Quality Systems (vision inspection, SPC tools, digital QMS)Build actionable digital adoption roadmaps (30-60-90 days + long-term plan).Train teams (operators → supervisors → management) on new tools and workflows.Collaborate with cross-functional teams : production, quality, operations, IT, and supply chain.Achieve measurable improvements : Higher OEEReduction in defects and reworkLower downtimeFaster cycle times and throughputMust-Have Experience10+ years in automotive or auto-components manufacturing.Demonstrated success in : Implementing or scaling ERP / MES systemsDeploying Industry 4.0 / automation solutionsIntegrating robotics and automation cellsDriving shop-floor digitalizationCombining lean manufacturing with digital toolsStrong knowledge of : PPAP, APQP, FMEACore processes : production, quality, supply chain, and plant operationsPreferred SkillsExperience with automotive OEMs or Tier 1 / Tier 2 suppliers.Exposure to AI / ML-based analytics for manufacturing improvement.Working knowledge of PLC / SCADA automation systems.Ability to convert operational challenges into practical technical solutions.Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.Who Should ApplyThis role is a strong fit for : Automotive professionals transitioning into digital / Industry 4.0 roles.Plant digitization specialists.Industry 4.0 consultants with hands-on manufacturing expertise.Tech-driven problem solvers who enjoy improving productivity and reliability.
