Roles and responsibilities :

Create test strategy and technical design for quality delivery and automation

Work closely with Product Managers and Developers, analyze requirements, design and review detailed test plans and test cases and execute them

Understand the modules, services, applications you own and how they interact with other components

Develop and execute automation scripts

Create / Enhance automation framework to augment feature testing needs

Create tools and systems which will improve efficiency and reduce manual effort

Monitor automation test results and ensure no random test failures in automation

Ensure zero defect leakages

Work closely with the Development team and ensure code is delivered with high code coverage

Create continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines

Setup test environments

Maintain and own QA environments and infrastructure

6+ years of experience in and mobile / Web application automation testing

Hands-on programming experience in Java

Experience in designing, developing, debugging and executing automation scripts

Experience in designing automation frameworks from scratch

Experience in REST API Automation

Experience in mobile or web automation using Appium or Selenium, CI-CD tools like Jenkins

Hands-on experience in SQL and NoSQL database schema, Linux / Unix commands, cloud technologies like PCF, AWS, GCP

Exposure to applications using container-orchestration systems like Kubernetes, and container engines like Docker and real-time event streaming apps using Kafka, and RabbitMQ message broker

Experience in microservices-based architecture and performance testing.

Strong knowledge of QA methodology and tools. Estimate, Priorities, plan, and coordinate testing activities

Well-versed with writing test cases and bug logging

Understanding of functional / technical specifications and of analyzing server logs

Experience in Agile or Scrum software development methodologies
