Position Overview : As the Architect of AI Engineering Team, you will drive the development and deployment of next-generation AI capabilities within Oracle's AI Cloud Service portfolio, encompassing language, vision, speech, TTS, document understanding, and translation solutions. You will lead a talented engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation, technical excellence, and collaboration to deliver AI-powered features that will be foundational to Oracle Fusion applications and key initiatives across Oracle’s ecosystem.

In this role, you will focus on building tailored AI solutions for vertical use cases, including Medical Smart Call Centers, Public Safety, Responsible AI, Digital Assistants, Biometrics, and Oracle Fusion applications. You’ll be instrumental in developing specialized AI capabilities that enhance customer engagement, ensure compliance with responsible AI practices, support public safety, and enable robust biometric solutions, providing strategic impact across critical domains.

Key Responsibilities :

• AI / ML Feature Development : Utilize your expertise in AI and ML to build advanced language, vision, and speech capabilities, enabling our applications to provide intelligent, context-aware solutions across the Oracle Fusion suite and targeted industry use cases.
• Strategic Vision : Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for AI-first enterprise applications, aligning with Oracle’s broader objectives and industry trends. Champion the evolution of our AI Cloud Service offerings by integrating the latest advances in AI research and supporting industry-specific use cases, including Digital Assistants, Medical Call Centers, and Public Safety.
• AI / ML Architecture & Design : Develop scalable, enterprise-grade AI architectures that power Oracle AI Cloud Service products, ensuring high accuracy, efficiency, and robustness.
• Solution Innovation : Drive foundational innovations by designing horizontal AI solutions that integrate seamlessly across Oracle Fusion applications and industry-specific AI solutions.
• Foundational Innovations : Drive horizontal AI capabilities that integrate seamlessly into multiple Oracle Fusion applications, focusing on achieving high accuracy, efficiency, and robust support for enterprise and vertical-specific needs, from healthcare to public safety.
• Enterprise AI Strategy : Collaborate with engineering, product management, and UX teams to define a forward-looking AI roadmap that aligns with Oracle’s business objectives and industry trends.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration : Partner with engineering teams across Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) to implement AI-driven capabilities that enhance Oracle’s ecosystem.
• Performance Optimization : Ensure AI models and services meet enterprise-grade performance, scalability, and reliability requirements.
• Mentorship & Leadership : Provide technical guidance to engineering teams, mentoring AI engineers and fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.

Responsibilities

As a Architect in the software engineering division, you will leverage your extensive software architecture expertise to guide software development tasks associated with creating, debugging, or designing software applications, operating systems, and databases according to present and future specifications. You will also enhance current architecture and envision potential improvements, working across multiple Oracle AI Cloud Service products.
