As a Cloud Data Migration Architect, you will lead the end-to-end migration of legacy databases (Oracle, SQL Server) to modern cloud-managed platforms like AWS RDS, AWS Aurora, Azure SQL, and GCP Cloud SQL.
Responsibilities :
Database Assessment and Strategy : Assess legacy on-prem databases (e. g. Oracle, SQL Server) and define appropriate migration strategy tailored to healthcare data and compliance requirements.
AI-Driven Migration Accelerators : Leverage AI-powered tools for schema conversion, data profiling, transformation, and validation to accelerate migration timelines.
Migration Execution : Execute end-to-end migrations to cloud-managed services such as AWS RDS, AWS Aurora, Azure SQL, and GCP Cloud SQL using tools like AWS DMS, Azure Data Factory, and GCP DMS.
Migration Types : Handle both homogeneous (e. g., SQL Server, Azure SQL) and heterogeneous (e. g., Oracle, AWS Aurora PostgreSQL) migrations.
Cloud Modernization Techniques : Apply lift-and-shift, replatforming, and refactoring techniques for optimal data modernization on the cloud.
Data Quality and Compliance : Ensure healthcare data integrity, HIPAA compliance, and high quality throughout the migration lifecycle.
Collaboration and Coordination : Work closely with cloud architects, DevOps, security, and compliance teams to ensure seamless integration into customer environments.
Stakeholder Engagement : Collaborate with HMT stakeholders to align migration plans with business goals and technology roadmaps.
Documentation and Knowledge Sharing : Develop migration playbooks, best practices, and reusable frameworks to enable factory-model delivery for multiple customers.
Monitoring and Reporting : Track progress, perform root-cause analysis, and ensure continuous improvement throughout migration engagements.
Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills : Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a focus on delivering scalable and reliable solutions.
You will work on both homogeneous and heterogeneous migrations, leveraging AI-powered accelerators for schema conversion, data profiling, and validation. With a strong focus on HIPAA-compliant, secure, and scalable solutions, you'll help healthcare organizations modernize their data platforms enabling real-time interoperability, advanced analytics, and better patient outcomes.
Requirements :
Experience : 15 - 18 Years.
Mandatory Technical Skills :
Good to have skills :
Clustering and High-Availability : Experience with clustering and high-availability solutions.
Data Performance tuning : Familiarity with optimising query performance and data ops.
Security and Compliance : Knowledge of security and compliance standards in cloud environments.
