Billing Compliance and Optimization Lead

Key Responsibilities :

Revenue Assurance

Has a thorough understanding of how supplier costs and charges are applied to products and services. Is able to identify revenue uplift and revenue leakage opportunities across the billing platforms in line with contractual and compliance obligations and can prioritise these opportunities, based on business benefit. You are able to build robust revenue assurance frameworks with controls across the product portfolio, so that losses are minimised or corrected.

Analytical

Has the skills needed to handle unexpected situations or difficult challenges at work. Is analytical in approach and data driven to accurately assess problems through the identification of trends, delivers root cause MI & challenges processes, systems and performance to deliver recommendations for continuous improvement.

Stakeholder Engagement

Works collaboratively with own peer group and specifically, teams within Operations and Commercial. Able to interact with external partners at a senior level to manage complex queries in relation to the bill. Engages stakeholders regarding planned back bill activity and is articulate in the production of any comms. Understands the importance of regular interactions with stakeholders, the need to tailor updates according to the audience and the need to be consistent in both frequency and message. Is accountable for new product controls, working with product, pricing and commercial teams to document requirements to ensure billing controls and associated reporting are embedded by design.

Results Driven

Takes ownership of performance and is able to track, monitor and improve metrics to deliver the credit reduction, back bill and billing assurance targets. Manages day-to-day workload of treatment, reconciliation and credit / refund analysis
