Position : Senior IBM MDM AE Developer

Location : Chennai, Tamil Nadu (Hybrid - 3 days / week in office) / Remote

As a Senior IBM MDM AE Developer, you will be a key member of our MDM implementation team, responsible for the design, development, testing, and deployment of IBM MDM Advanced Edition (AE) solutions. You will work closely with various stakeholders, including business analysts, solution architects, and senior technical consultants, to translate business requirements into technical solutions. A strong hands-on background with IBM MDM AE is essential for this role. You will be expected to work independently on assigned modules while understanding the broader strategic goals of the Collaborate effectively with business analysts to actively participate in requirements gathering sessions and gain a deep understanding of client needs.

• Work closely with solution architects and senior technical consultants to design and implement best-of-class IBM MDM AE solutions.
• Develop a strong understanding of the global MDM data model relevant to the project.
• Actively participate in the design and development of information workflows within the MDM solution.
• Design and develop high-quality MDM and Java code to satisfy documented requirements and align with the designed solution architecture.
• Perform thorough unit, functional, and integration testing of developed components to ensure accuracy and stability.
• Support integration efforts involving various systems and data through activities such as application consolidation, migration, conversion, and data integration.
• Create comprehensive release documents and assist in the build and deployment of code across different server environments.
• Debug critical technical issues in a timely manner and provide prompt and effective resolutions.
• Identify and highlight technical issues and challenges to clients and senior management, proposing creative and viable solutions.
• Work independently on assigned modules and tasks with minimal supervision, taking ownership of deliverables.
• Understand the strategic direction and goals of the project and ensure that developed global MDM solutions align with these Skills and Experience :
• Experience Level : 5 to 10 years of experience in IT, with significant hands-on experience specifically with IBM MDM Advanced Edition (AE).
• Proven experience in designing, developing, and implementing solutions using IBM MDM AE.
• Strong proficiency in Java development.
• Experience with database concepts and working with relational databases.
• Familiarity with data modeling principles, particularly in the context of Master Data Management.
• Experience with data integration concepts and techniques.
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle and best practices.
