Senior Oracle Database Administrator

JOB DESCRIPTION

Location : Bangalore

Exp - 4- 8 Years

• Candidate should have good hold over the requirements gathering, designing, planning, problem solving, technical analysis of business problems and presenting it to management
• Analytical ability to resolve complex issues in a fast paced and challenging SAN DB platform environment is needed.
• Deep Subject matter expertise in Oracle 12C / 19C RAC Administration
• Oracle Golden Gate
• Preferred to have other DB platforms like PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB
• Oracle RAC, Performance tuning, Monitoring (OEM, Splunk, Prometheus), Capacity Planning, Query optimization
• Deep experience with databases hosted on AIX / Linux / AWS is must. Experience and extensive exposure to OS and compute virtualization concepts is required.
• Strong knowledge of RMAN and other migration tool / utilities.
• Extensive experience with various DR and HA solutions / Architecture
• Candidate must have experience with using databases available in Amazon RDS platform
• Highly self-motivated with the desire to embrace new database technologies and be able to work independently and within a team in a high demand and dynamic environment
• Understand the Database marketplace and utilize unique technologies across Database vendors to design DB solutions based on business requirements.
• Analyze and resolve problems involving interaction between applications, server hardware / firmware / OS and Database by working with cross functional teams and equipment vendors.
• Contribute to a variety of documentation such as strategies, plans, designs, configuration standards, metrics, etc.
