Job Title : Sales Manager, Distribution (AIF- CAT II) With the AIF Cat II fund registered at SEBI.

Location : BKC Bandra, Mumbai

Experience : 2-3 years of experience in Sales

Job Role : The Sales Manager will play a crucial role to help expand the Company's reach and market share through various distribution channels, primarily Independent Financial Advisors (IFAs) , National Distributors, Banks and Wealth Managers . This role involves active engagement with partners, providing product knowledge, fostering relationships and assisting in achieving sales growth. The company is Targeting the HNIs and other companies

The Fund has launched first Media & Entertainment (M&E) Credit AIF with an investment theme to invest across content (Film and OTT ) projects. Preferred Qualifications :

  • Education : Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA or a relevant Master's degree is a plus.
  • Experience : 2-3 years of experience in sales, within the financial services industry (mutual funds, banking, broking, wealth management). Freshers with a strong aptitude and willingness to learn are also encouraged to apply.
  • Skills & Competencies :

  • Strong Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Local Language [e.g., Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati etc]. Ability to articulate complex financial concepts clearly.
  • Interpersonal & Relationship Building Skills : Ability to build rapport and trust with diverse individuals and foster strong professional relationships.
  • Learning Agility : Eagerness to continuously learn about financial products, market trends, and regulatory changes.
  • Customer Focus : A strong commitment to providing excellent service and support to partners.
  • Problem-Solving : Ability to identify issues and assist in finding effective solutions.
  • Self-Motivated & Proactive : Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Basic Financial Acumen : Fundamental understanding of AIF’s, investment principles, and financial markets.
  • Tech Savvy : Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CRM software is a plus.
  • Key Responsibilities :

    Partner Relationship Management :

    Assist in building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with existing and potential distribution partners

    IFAs, National Distributors, Banks, Wealth Managers).

  • Regularly connect with IFA’s, National Distributors, wealth managers via phone, email, and schedule visits to understand their needs, address queries and provide updates.
  • Product Knowledge & Training :
  • Develop a strong understanding of the AIF industry, product proposition as well as the M&E industry.
  • Assist in conducting product presentations and training sessions for distribution partners and their teams to enhance their knowledge and confidence
  • S ales Support & Target Achievement :
  • Achievement of sales targets for assigned territories or channels.
  • Track and monitor sales activities and pipeline, preparing regular reports.
  • Identify potential opportunities for business growth within the distribution network. Assist in resolving partner-related queries and issues efficiently and promptly. Ensure all sales activities and interactions adhere to SEBI (Securities and Exchange Board of India) regulations and internal compliance guidelines. Assist partners with necessary documentation and application processes.
  • Administrative Support :
  • Maintain accurate records of partner interactions, sales activities and feedback in the CRM system.
  • Prepare and manage sales collateral and marketing materials for distribution.
