Project Manager - Embedded System

Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Project Manager to lead our embedded systems software projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in embedded software development, coupled with extensive experience in managing complex projects from conception to successful delivery. This role requires a blend of technical acumen, leadership skills, and excellent communication to drive project success and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality embedded :

• Lead and manage the full lifecycle of embedded software projects, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and technical teams.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including detailed schedules, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
• Oversee and guide development teams working on embedded systems projects involving RTOS, IoT protocols, embedded web servers using C / C++, and edge analytics.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies proactively.
• Facilitate effective communication channels between technical teams, stakeholders, and clients.
• Conduct regular project status meetings, prepare detailed reports, and present updates to senior management and relevant stakeholders.
• Manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and budget, to optimize efficiency and achieve project objectives.
• Ensure adherence to software development best practices, quality standards, and company processes.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment, providing guidance and support to project team members.
• Contribute to technical discussions and architectural decisions, leveraging prior embedded systems experience.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the project management and development :
• Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation, Electronics, E&TC (Electronics & Telecommunication), Computer Science, or an equivalent engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 10+ years of overall experience in software development and project management.
• Minimum 8+ years of demonstrated experience in leading and managing software projects specifically in embedded systems. This includes proven experience with : 1. Projects utilizing RTOS (Real-Time Operating Systems) & 2. Development involving IoT protocols.
• Experience with embedded web servers.
• Extensive programming in C / C++ for embedded applications.
• Exposure to edge analytics concepts and Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively both in written and oral English.
• Self-motivated, innovative, and willing to pursue new technical areas.
• Capable of working independently and taking initiative to drive projects forward.
• Architectural exposure in embedded systems will be an added advantage.
