We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled SAP ABAP Developer to join our dynamic team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of hands-on experience in various SAP ABAP development aspects, including ALE, IDOC, User Exits, Customer Exits, Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, BAPI, and BADI. This role will be critical in designing, developing, and implementing robust SAP solutions to meet our business requirements.

Key Responsibilities :

Design, develop, test, and deploy SAP ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms (RICEF) according to functional and technical specifications.
Work extensively with ALE and IDOC for integration with external systems, ensuring seamless data exchange.
Implement and debug User Exits and Customer Exits to enhance standard SAP functionalities.
Develop and modify Smart Forms and Adobe Forms for various business documents.
Utilize BAPIs and BADIs for custom developments and integrations, ensuring adherence to SAP best practices.
Collaborate with functional consultants and business users to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Perform code reviews, ensure adherence to coding standards, and maintain technical documentation.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, providing timely and effective support.
Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from analysis and design to testing and deployment.
Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and development trends.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

5+ years of extensive hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.

Strong proficiency in :

1. ABAP programming language

2. ALE (Application Link Enabling)

3. IDOC (Intermediate Document) processing

4. User Exits and Customer Exits

5. Smart Forms

6. Adobe Forms (PDF-based print forms)

7. BAPI (Business Application Programming Interface)

8. BADI (Business Add-Ins)

Experience with debugging tools and performance tuning of ABAP programs.

Familiarity with standard SAP modules (e.g., SD, MM, FICO, PP) and their integration points.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have) :

Experience with S / 4HANA ABAP development (AMDP, CDS Views, OData services).

Knowledge of SAP Fiori / UI5 development.

Experience with SAP Workflow.

Certifications in SAP ABAP.
