About the Role :
UST is looking for a highly skilled Data Analyst with 7+ years of experience, specializing in AWS, SQL, and data analytics.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and maintaining data systems, ensuring data integrity, and delivering actionable insights that support strategic business decisions.
This role spans the full analytics lifecycle from data collection to complex analysis and stakeholder reporting.
Key Responsibilities :
Data Quality & Integrity :
- Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data throughout its lifecycle.
- Cleanse and validate data; identify and correct anomalies in generated reports.
Data Collection & Management :
Collect data from multiple sources including APIs, databases, and third-party tools.Maintain and optimize data infrastructure and systems, particularly within AWS environments.Advanced Data Analytics & Reporting :
Conduct in-depth data analysis using SQL and advanced analytical tools.Identify trends, patterns, and business insights from large, complex datasets.Create interactive dashboards, charts, and visualizations to support business decisions.Automation & Efficiency :
Develop scripts and tools for automating data extraction and transformation processes.Implement scalable solutions using AWS cloud Collaboration :Partner with business leaders to gather requirements and design data-driven solutions.Translate complex analytical results into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.Database & System Oversight :
Manage and update secure databases ensuring high performance and availability.Support data warehousing and data pipeline initiatives using modern cloud tools.Required Skills :
Proficiency in SQL (mandatory)Hands-on experience with AWS (mandatory)Strong expertise in data analytics, statistical techniques, and deriving actionable insightsProficient in Python and / or R for data manipulation and analysisExperience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similarSound understanding of ETL processes, data modeling, and reporting best practicesref : hirist.tech)
