Requirements

We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer / Automation Tester with handson experience in test automation and scripting. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills the ability to work independently and excellent communication abilities to effectively coordinate with project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities :

Develop and maintain automation scripts using tools and languages such as Selenium RTF QTP (VBScript) and JavaScript .

Participate actively in reviews and interpret documentation including business requirements functional specifications and design documents.

Independently manage testing tasks and effectively communicate status updates to the project SPOC.

Analyze and understand application architecture and design documents for comprehensive test planning.

Execute and maintain test cases ensuring coverage of complex application layers interfaces databases and supporting systems.

Utilize knowledge of various SDLC processes testing methodologies quality standards and industry best practices.

Report product defects and ensure compliance with business and functional requirements.

Perform system maintenance regression testing and support duties.

Ensure adherence to test process management tools and guidelines (e.g. VSTS RTC RQM).

Conduct Web Services testing using tools such as SOAP UI .

Perform content testing quality assurance and administrative QA tasks.

Create and manage test data to simulate reallife usage scenarios.

Ensure testing tools (e.g. VSTS RTC RQM) are updated with task status and test case details.

Required Skills :

Strong scripting experience with Selenium QTP (VBScript) RTF and JavaScript .

Working knowledge of SOAP UI for web service testing.

Familiarity with test management tools like VSTS (Azure DevOps) RTC and RQM .

Good understanding of RUP (Rational Unified Process) testing discipline standards.

Experience in content testing test case development and defect tracking.

Ability to work independently in a fastpaced environment.

Preferred Qualifications :

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.

ISTQB or other relevant testing certifications is a plus.
