AI & Data Principal Engineer

About the Role :

We are seeking a visionary AI & Data Principal Engineer to lead the architecture, development, and deployment of advanced AI and data-driven solutions. This role is pivotal in driving innovation across machine learning, data engineering, and AI infrastructure, while mentoring teams and shaping strategic technical direction aligned with business goals.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead the design and implementation of scalable AI and data architectures, ensuring integration with enterprise systems.
• Define and drive the technical roadmap for AI, machine learning, and data engineering initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, engineers, product managers, and business leaders to align AI capabilities with organizational objectives.
• Mentor and guide senior engineers and architects, fostering technical excellence and innovation.
• Architect, develop, and deploy advanced machine learning models, natural language processing (NLP), computer vision, or other AI applications.
• Oversee the entire ML lifecycle including data preprocessing, model training, evaluation, tuning, and deployment.
• Drive adoption of MLOps best practices to ensure scalable, reproducible, and automated model deployment and monitoring.
• Design and oversee the development of robust, efficient data pipelines and data infrastructure to support AI and analytics workloads.
• Ensure high-quality, well-governed, and secure data assets are available for AI applications.
• Promote data-driven decision-making by delivering reliable and insightful analytics solutions.
• Stay abreast of the latest AI, ML, and data technologies, evaluating their applicability to business challenges.
• Lead pilot projects and proof of concepts (POCs) to validate new AI technologies and approaches.
• Drive continuous improvement by implementing best practices in software engineering, data management, and AI model development.
• Ensure AI and data solutions comply with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards.
• Establish standards for data privacy, security, and responsible AI use.
