Role : Branch Manager - Agency 7-13 Years of experience in Insurance sales (agency channel)

Job Summary :

  • We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Branch Manager to lead our Agency Channel operations in New Delhi.
  • The ideal candidate will possess 7-13 years of proven experience in insurance sales through the agency channel, demonstrating strong leadership capabilities and a strategic mindset.
  • This role is crucial for driving business growth, ensuring the development and performance of a multi-tiered sales team, and maintaining key business health parameters.

Key Develop a comprehensive business plan that includes targets for HNI (High Net Worth Individual) prospects, and routine business metrics such as LA (Life Advisor) base, activation rates, case rate, and case size, tailored to the skills of Sales Managers (SMs) / Recruitment Development Managers (RDMs).

  • Monitor the skill transitions of SMs / RDMs, validate their development, and actively coach Assistant Branch Managers (ABMs) / Branch Recruitment Development Managers (BRDMs) on identifying and addressing skill gaps in their teams.
  • Discuss SM / RDM-wise plans with ABMs / BRDMs, basing these on current conversion ratios, and validate the target settings for all SMs / RDMs.
  • Monitor advisor selection processes through a sample audit of 2 random LA selections per ABM / BRDM per month, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
  • Maintain stringent control over the execution of plans as defined above, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Continuously check and take corrective actions on key business health parameters including Persistency, LA Commission, Product Mix, Claims, and ECS / SI (Electronic Clearing Service / Standing Instruction) Directly manage a team of 3-5 Assistant Branch Managers (ABMs) / Branch Recruitment Development Managers (BRDMs).
  • Each ABM / BRDM, in turn, oversees a unit of 8-10 Sales Managers (SMs) / Recruitment and Development Managers (RDMs).
  • Required Skills & Experience : 7-13 years of proven experience in Insurance sales specifically within the agency channel.

  • Team Management : Demonstrated ability to lead and manage multi-layered sales teams effectively.
  • Sales Planning : Strong capabilities in developing and executing comprehensive sales plans.
  • Performance Monitoring : Proficiency in monitoring and improving key sales and business health metrics.
  • Coaching & Mentoring : Proven ability to coach and mentor sales professionals for skill development and performance enhancement.
  • Communication : Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-Solving : Strong analytical skills to identify issues and implement corrective actions
