About the team and the role :

eBay is seeking a Monitoring & Testing Lead to join our Ethics & Compliance team! This position will be based in Mumbai or Bengaluru, India. The role will report to the Senior Director, Global Head of Ethics & Compliance and lead the design and implementation of systems to monitor and enhance our ethics and global compliance program.

What you will accomplish :

Design and implement systems for continuous monitoring of compliance-related activities and identify appropriate remediation steps and reporting

Create comprehensive reports and dashboards to communicate relevant data to the Board of DIrectors and its Committees, senior management, and other key stakeholders

Manage employee ethics survey including design / benchmarking, reporting, follow up action plan & materials

Manage annual Conflicts of Interest Questionnaire process

Conduct due diligence and ongoing monitoring of high risk third parties

Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure alignment with applicable requirements and timely implementation of recommended remediation

What you will bring :

4+ years of experience in Ethics & Compliance or in a related control function such as Risk, Trust & Safety, Finance, Audit

Proven hands-on analytics experience, preferably within a compliance or risk management context, including technical proficiency with data analysis tools such as Excel and Tableau; skills with SQL and scripting languages such as Python or R a plus

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets

Knowledge of risk management frameworks and practices

Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively; proficiency in English is required

Bachelor’s degree
