Lead DevOps / SRE Engineer – Backgammon Galaxy (Remote)

Backgammon Galaxy is a fast-growing, web and mobile platform for playing Backgammon online, with a passionate community of over 130,000 users . As a startup, we move fast, innovate boldly, and work asynchronously in a remote-first environment. We’re now looking for a proactive and experienced Lead DevOps / Site Reliability Engineer to join us full-time and help scale our infrastructure to the next level.

Note : This is a direct hire position. Agencies or outsourcing companies will not be considered.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and mentor the infrastructure team, fostering a culture of ownership, collaboration, and excellence.
• Define and drive the infrastructure technical vision, strategy, and roadmap .
• Ensure platform reliability, scalability, and performance .
• Design systems for current and future needs with a focus on automation and observability .
• Manage and contribute to CI / CD pipelines, on-call rotations, performance testing, and infrastructure documentation.
• Champion security best practices and regulatory compliance .
