Piping Designer (Autocad Plant3D)

Job Description

Equipment layout and pipe routing of road freight modules.

• Equipment modeling of Vessels (generic shapes using parameterized shapes in software)
• Import special shape reactors from Mechanical Engineering Department (STEP)
• Import vendor provided 3D models of valves, pumps, etc.
• Model pipe supports and hangers
• Supervision and workload assignment to subordinate piping designer
• Interfaces with Project Manager / Project Engineer
• Interfaces with Sr. Principal Piping Engineer (Houston), and Sr. Piping Designer (Gurgaon) as needed
• Interfaces with Process Engineering function (Houston / Gurgaon)

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in experience, Secondary Technical Education or Higher Technical Education in engineering technology, CAD training in AutoCAD & Plant 3D, 8-10 years of piping design experience
