Role Overview We are looking for a results driven Sales and Marketing Manager with deep experience in B2B sales to K-12 institutions. You will be responsible for expanding our footprint across schools, driving adoption of our books and LMS platform, and building lasting relationships with school leaders, administrators, and educators.
Key Responsibilities Sales Strategy & Execution Identify and close sales opportunities with K-12 schools, school chains, and educational institutions. Lead the end-to-end sales process : prospecting, pitch, demo, negotiation, closing, and onboarding. Develop and maintain relationships with key decision makers including school principals, directors, procurement heads, and academic coordinators. Achieve and exceed monthly / quarterly sales targets.
Marketing & Outreach Design and execute B2B marketing campaigns targeting K-12 educators and institutions. Create compelling collateral with our in-house graphics team in the form of emailers, pitch decks, and brochures tailored for school buyers. Represent the company at education conferences, webinars, expos, and networking events. Collaborate with the product and content teams to align messaging and value propositions with real school needs.
Partnership Development Explore partnerships with school chains, franchises, and regional distributors. Build referral networks and channel partners for large-scale school outreach.
Requirements 5+ years of experience in B2B sales and marketing in the education sector, especially books, ed-tech products, or learning platforms. Proven track record of closing large deals with schools or school groups. Strong understanding of the K-12 curriculum landscape, purchasing cycles, and decision making hierarchies. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build trust with school stakeholders. Ability to travel occasionally for school visits, expos, or regional meetings.
Nice to Have Experience marketing or selling to CBSE, State Board, and International schools. Familiarity with state board, CBSE, ICSE, or international curricula (IB, Cambridge).
