INNOFarms.AI is pioneering the future of sustainable agriculture through deep-tech innovations in robotics, AI, and smart farming systems. We’re looking for a Robotics / Mechanical Engineer Intern to join our interdisciplinary R&D team in building advanced, autonomous agricultural systems.
The ideal candidate is passionate about mechanical design, possesses strong design acumen with the ability to assess manufacturing feasibility, has hands-on project experience, and can start immediately.
What You’ll Do?
- Design mechanical assemblies for robots using SolidWorks or Fusion 360
- Run FEA simulations for mechanical validation and performance tuning
- Produce detailed drawings and documentation for fabrication (3D printing, CNC, etc.)
- Build and test mechanical prototypes and iterate designs for field-ready performance
- Collaborate on integration with electronics, sensors, and embedded systems
- Participate in troubleshooting and fine-tuning of hardware during testing
- Document engineering decisions, CAD / FEA work, and prototyping results
Who You Are?
A student or recent graduate in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Robotics EngineeringStrong in CAD modelling, design for manufacturing, and prototypingFamiliarity with manufacturing processes (e.g., 3D printing, CNC machining)Basic experience with CAD analysis tools, including FEA and simulation software.Basic familiarity with PCB design, sensors, or robotics hardware a plusProblem-solving mindset with a curiosity to learn beyond your core fieldImmediate availability and willingness to work onsiteBonus if you have :
Knowledge of robotic kinematics, dynamics, actuators, and control systemsWorked with ESP32, STM32, or similar platforms in mechanical-electronic integrationExperience with rapid prototyping workflows using Arduino, ROS and programming experience using C / C++ or PythonParticipation in college competitions, projects, or hackathons related to robotics or mechanical design (e.g., RoboCon, SAE Baja, or similar).Location : Onsite – Gurugram

Duration : 3–6 months (with possibility of full-time extension)
