Job Summary :

We are seeking a high-initiative Senior Sales Associate who will be responsible for building, nurturing, and moving prospects through the early and mid-stages of the sales funnel. This role is not responsible for closing deals, our senior sales leaders handle final negotiations and contract execution. Instead, your primary responsibility is to create pipeline momentum through targeted outreach, follow-ups, and campaign execution.

You will work closely with sales and marketing leadership to execute outbound outreach, re-engage our large existing leads database, maintain a healthy top-of-funnel, and ensure prospects progress consistently through the pipeline.

Key Responsibilities :

Pipeline Building & Lead Generation

  • Conduct outbound prospecting through direct calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other social channels.
  • Re-activate and nurture our large existing database of leads who have not been contacted or have gotten cold.
  • Research and identify new target organizations in the US community health market, including CBOs, FQHCs, nonprofit organizations, managed care providers, and care coordination entities.
  • Support the execution of B2B lead generation campaigns across HubSpot, LinkedIn, and curated email sequences.

Qualification & Funnel Movement

  • Qualifying inbound and outbound leads to determine fit and readiness.
  • Own and manage the top and middle of the funnel, ensuring prospects are properly nurtured and advanced toward demo / meeting stages.
  • Set high-quality appointments for senior sales leaders by driving continuous engagement.
  • Maintain high-velocity follow-up cadences using CRM workflows, sequences, and content libraries.
  • Pipeline Management & CRM Ownership

  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of all outreaches, touchpoints, and prospective activity within the CRM (HubSpot).
  • Track funnel metrics, touchpoints, connection rates, conversion rates and provide regular activity and performance reports.
  • Ensure all leads are categorized, assigned, and progressed appropriately through the funnel.
  • Collaboration & Sales Operations Support

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to refine messaging, outreach scripts, and campaigns tailored to our niche market.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (sales, product, marketing, finance) to support smooth handoff of qualified opportunities.
  • Assist with preparation and scheduling of sales meetings, demos, webinars, and other prospect-facing activities.
  • Support administrative tasks such as documentation, reporting, and follow-ups.
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree with 3 to 6 years of experience in sales development, lead generation, inside sales, or sales support preferably in B2B SaaS or healthcare.
  • Experience using CRM systems (HubSpot preferred).
  • Proven success in outbound prospecting and building early-stage pipeline.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills along with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and LinkedIn for outreach.
