What You Should Know About This Job
The Business Development Executive will play a pivotal role in cultivating relationships with architects, designers, and other key stakeholders in the architecture and construction industries. The role will focus primarily on outreach and setting meetings with architects, inviting them to our experience center, and building long-term partnerships that support business growth.
Key Responsibilities :
Lead Generation & Outreach : Identify and target architects, interior designers, and industry professionals for partnership opportunities. Initiate and maintain contact to set up meetings, presentations, and site visits.Experience Centre Engagement : Invite architects and design professionals to visit our experience center, providing them with an interactive and informative experience of our lighting solutions.Relationship Building : Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with key industry influencers, ensuring that our brand is top-of-mind when architects or designers are considering lighting solutions for their projects.Client and Partner Communication : Manage communications with architects, designers, and partners, ensuring that they have all the information they need regarding our products and services.Sales Support : Work closely to align marketing efforts with business goals and provide support in following up on leads, setting meetings, and generating opportunities.Market Research : Keep track of industry trends, competitor activities, and specific architect or designer needs in order to tailor outreach efforts and ensure relevance.Reporting & Analysis : Monitor and track meeting outcomes and lead generation performance. Provide regular reports on progress, successful engagements, and areas for improvement.
Skills & Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.Preferred 0-2 years of experience in marketing, business development, or sales, preferably within the architecture, design, or construction industries.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and build relationships with architects and design professionals.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Goal-oriented with experience in lead generation and relationship management.Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and CRM systems to track leads, meetings, and follow-ups.Knowledge of the architecture and design industries is highly desirable.Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
