We are currently looking for a talented and organized Junior VFX Editor to join our post- production team.
Responsibilities :
As the Junior VFX Editor, you will support the VFX Editorial Lead process by :
- Assisting the VFX Editor and Supervisor in managing editorial workflows and tracking shot progress
- Conforming raw footage, prepping plates, and ingesting media for departments.
- Preparing temp edits, showreels, and client reviews with the latest VFX shots
- Maintaining accurate databases with current shot status, handles, omits, re-times and version zeros.
- Performing editorial quality control checks on incoming / outgoing VFX shots
- Collaborating across departments to ensure a seamless editorial pipeline and timely deliveries
Skills & Qualifications :
Minimum 2 or more years' experience in a post-production or VFX environment (preferably feature film and episodic)Proficiency in Avid Media Composer, Adobe Premiere Pro, and DaVinci ResolveFamiliarity with VFX tools such as Nuke, After Effects, Fusion, or Shotgun is a strong plusWorking knowledge of editing formats, timecodes, EDLs, LUTs, and color spacesExcellent organizational and file management skillsAbility to multitask across several projects with strong attention to detailClear communicator who thrives in a team-driven, deadline-oriented environmentA strong understanding of cinematic languageProficient at working on time sensitive projects with passion & patienceBonus Points
Experience conforming and delivering VFX plates for external vendorsComfortable building and updating editorial timelines with ongoing shot iterationsPrevious experience creating dynamic internal or client-facing showreels
