We are hiring an experienced Lebanese Head Chef to lead a pre-opening project as a Consultant in Bangalore, India.
About the Role :
This is a 3-month consultancy role to design and execute the culinary vision for an upcoming Lebanese concept restaurant. The consultant will be responsible for developing the menu, conducting kitchen trials, training the chefs, and supporting the soft launch and early-stage operations.
Responsibilities :
Design and develop a contemporary Lebanese menu
Conduct trials in an existing fully-equipped kitchen to avoid setup delays
Train local chefs on authentic Lebanese recipes and kitchen standards
Oversee on-site food trials during the pre-opening phase
Provide support during the soft launch and opening phase
Advise on kitchen layout, equipment needs, and operational workflows
Project Phases :
Venue setup : 2.5 to 3 months (ongoing)
3 weeks of trials prior to soft launch
Post-launch : dine-in only (no online aggregators for first 2 months)
Requirements :
Proven experience as Head Chef specializing in Lebanese cuisine
Prior consultancy or pre-opening experience preferred
Ability to train and lead kitchen teams effectively
Willingness to be based in Bangalore during the contract period [HOUSING PROVIDED]
