The Analyst, Configuration Management is part of the PSA Tech Ops Division of the PSA Tech Services Center. This role involves dedication to ensure safety and efficiency of PSA’s fleet, collaborating cross-functional to drive continuous improvement, and growth opportunities through development of expertise in aircraft configuration management.

WHAT YOU WILL DO :

This list is intended to reflect the current job but there may be additional essential functions (and certainly non-essential job functions) that are not referenced. Management will modify the job or require other tasks be performed whenever it is deemed appropriate to do so, observing, of course, any legal obligations including any collective bargaining obligations.

  • Manage all configurations / part numbers and subsequent revisions to ensure accurate documentation in OEM, PSA Manuals, and MRO systems, as required by the General Maintenance Manual (GMM)
  • Complete rules area runs for Technical Services and Configuration Control, and initiate action on identified issues
  • Initiate Airworthiness Directive (AD) assessment process, as outlined in the GMM, upon receipt from the Chief Inspector
  • Prepare and revise Aircraft Configuration Drawings, as necessary, to reflect the PSA-approved configuration of the CRJ-700 / 900
  • Collect and resolve all Requests for Technical Services (RFTSs) for configuration changes submitted by frontline staff
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Technical Services leadership

ALL YOU’LL NEED FOR SUCCESS :

Minimum Qualifications – Education & Prior Job Experience :

  • Bachelor's degree in management information systems, information technology, or a related field
  • 3 years of experience in aircraft configuration management, maintenance, or a related field
  • FAA 121 Airline Operator and associate FARs or equivalent experience
  • Preferred Qualifications – Education & Prior Job Experience :

  • Experience with PSA' systems and processes
  • Familiarity with the General Maintenance Manual (GMM) and Airworthiness Directives (ADs)
  • Knowledge of aircraft configuration management software and tools
  • Certification in aircraft configuration management or a related field
  • Skills, Licenses, and Certifications :

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with experience in document management and control systems
  • Certification in aircraft configuration management or a related field (e.g., FAA, EASA, or equivalent)
  • LANGUAGE / COMMUNICATION SKILLS :

  • Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and written with all levels within the organization
